Collection: Wedgwood Jasperware

Wedgwood Jasperware is a type of stoneware ceramic, invented by Josiah Wedgwood in the 1770s, characterized by its unglazed, matte finish and fine-grained texture. It is famed for its ability to be coloured throughout the entire body, typically in various hues such as the iconic "Wedgwood Blue", alongside green, lilac, yellow, black, and white. The ware features relief decorations, often white, applied in contrasting colors to create a classic, cameo-like effect, drawing on Greek and Roman motifs.
